About the Role:

We are seeking an ambitious and dedicated Teaching Assistant to support a child with special education needs. The successful candidate will be required to assist and support the child throughout their education journey.

Assignment Details:

Person Specification:
  • Experience working with young people in a school setting or similar environment, supporting and assisting vulnerable individuals.
  • Experience working at care homes, trained in moving and handling.
  • Experience working with children with complex needs, sensory feeding difficulties, and supporting the provision of therapeutic inputs.
  • Confidence in dealing with vulnerable children in a delicate manner.
  • Ability to work well with challenging behaviour.
  • Strong communication skills, both orally and written.
  • Willingness to undergo continual professional training.
  • Reliability and commitment to working within an education environment.
  • Able to work under pressure effectively and reflect in action.
  • Ambitious and enthusiastic with a 'can do' attitude and a sense of humour.
