About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Director to join our Doncaster Mental Health and Learning Disability Care Group. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our services and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage our medical workforce across the care group
  • Develop and deliver presentations and training to large groups
  • Collaborate with clinical colleagues to create a positive safety culture and robust quality governance framework
  • Manage complex situations and lead people in difficult situations
  • Translate policy into practice and work within clear performance targets and indicators
Requirements
  • MB ChB or equivalent qualification
  • Current GMC Registration with a license to practise
  • Postgraduate qualification in leadership and management
  • GMC registration without any restrictions
  • s12 approval and Approved Clinician status under the Mental Health Act (1983)
