Job Role

We are seeking an experienced Delivery Manager to join our team in the Highways Sector. As a Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for delivering Mechanical, Electrical, and Technology Projects. You will work closely with the Project Manager and Head of Sector to develop working teams to safely deliver these projects on time and on budget to the standards of safety and quality expected on Highways infrastructure projects.

This role requires travel to and from our regional locations, including Saltash. The ideal candidate should have significant experience in managing clients, contractors, and coordinating stakeholders. Experience within the Highways electrical or Technology field is preferred. Strong knowledge of key project processes and excellent IT skills in MS Office suite are also essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and project management in all facets of the project activities to deliver the project to meet cost, time, and quality requirements.
  • Understand the commercials of the project and apply them to ensure margins are achieved.
  • Responsible for the performance of the project from a delivery perspective.
  • Ensure that engineering activities associated with the delivery of the workstream are undertaken in a timely manner.
  • Work with the client and report to the Project Manager to establish the strategy and delivery for the project.
  • Undertake specific project management tasks at the discretion of the Project Manager.
