Electro-Mechanical Equipment Maintenance Expert

We are seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Cambridge. As an Electro-Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality maintenance services for electro-mechanical equipment.
The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be required to deliver periodic and condition-based preventative maintenance schedules for all electro-mechanical equipment and work closely with operations teams to offer engineering expertise in the design and delivery of improvements for electro-mechanical equipment.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of Level 3 qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering and experience with installation and support of PLC systems. They will also have excellent communication skills and be able to maintain professional competence through training and development as appropriate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver periodic and condition-based preventative maintenance schedules for all electro-mechanical equipment.
- Work with operations teams to offer engineering expertise in the design and delivery of improvements for electro-mechanical equipment.
- Undertake risk assessments for all electro-mechanical equipment in liaison with the Engineering Manager.
Requirements:
- Minimum of Level 3 qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
- Understanding of PLC programming logic.
- Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematic drawings.
- Strong Electrical and Mechanical aptitude, with knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic circuits and controls.
- Experience with installation and support of PLC systems.
