About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Design Lead to join our team at Keele University. As a key member of our Service Transformation team, you will play a pivotal role in developing our end-to-end service design and architecture, working closely with directorate leaders to shape the future design of services and their integration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement holistic data-driven approaches to assess the efficiency and effectiveness of professional services areas
  • Lead and manage a team of experienced Business Analysts to deliver high-quality service design and transformation projects
  • Collaborate with IDS colleagues to ensure services are designed to align with the Enterprise Architecture and meet the strategic priorities of Keele
  • Deploy standard methodologies for customer journey mapping, business process mapping, service design, user requirements capture, and benefits opportunity assessment
  • Map business functional requirements with digital systems configuration
  • Support the integration of new and existing services, ensuring they are tested and implemented appropriately
  • Design operating models and services that draw down on common design principles
