We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Cardiologist to join our team at the NHS. As a Consultant Cardiologist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our cardiology services.
Main Responsibilities:- Deliver approximately 1750 coronary interventions and 2500 diagnostic cardiac catheterisations annually
- Participate in a 1 in 9 on-call rota for acute interventional cardiology at UHW
- Contribute to the development of our cardiology services and participate in clinical audit and research
- On GMC Specialist Register for specialty / Specialist Registrar with CCT/CESR(CP) due within 6 months of interview date
- MRCP (UK) or equivalent
- Higher Degree (MD, PhD or equivalent)
- Recognised ability as a clinical cardiologist and interventional cardiologist
- Evidence of effective team and multidisciplinary working
- Effective and demonstrable communication skills
