Specialist Education Assistant

Salary: Up to £21,012 per annum, pro rata, based on 40 hours per week
About the RoleWe require an experienced learning support assistant to join our academic team at a reputable independent school.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with teachers, students, and parents.
As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing individualized support to students and contributing to the overall success of our academic programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting teaching staff in creating engaging lesson plans and activities
- Providing tailored support to students with varying needs and abilities
- Maintaining accurate records of student progress and achievements
- Communicating effectively with parents and guardians through regular updates and progress reports
Desirable Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in an educational setting
- Diploma or certificate in special education or a related field
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team
