Job Summary

We have a vacancy for a Machine Operative on the weekly rotating shift at our Newbridge Site. As a Machine Operative, you will be responsible for ensuring customers' orders are fulfilled to the highest standards. Your specific tasks may include:

  • Picking computer-generated orders with repetitive handling and lifting of heavy and large items
  • Accurately recording stock movement and usage, along with product identification and use of measuring equipment
  • Working efficiently and effectively as part of a team and on your own
  • Operating saws and handling steel
  • Transferring stock to its location using forklift trucks and cranes
  • Assisting in the overall production and dispatch of customers' orders
  • Maintaining high levels of Health and Safety at all times
  • Being adaptable and flexible in approach to work to meet operational requirements

About You

We are looking for someone with a passion for working in a collaborative and creative way. Essential skills for the role include experience in machinery operations, a flexible attitude, results-oriented approach, and ability to work in a team environment. Forklift and side-loader experience is desirable but not essential. Health and Safety awareness is also essential.
