Job Summary

We have a vacancy for a Machine Operative on the weekly rotating shift at our Newbridge Site. The purpose of this role is to ensure customers' orders are fulfilled to the highest standards in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pick computer-generated orders with repetitive handling and lifting of heavy and large items
  • Accurately record stock movement and usage, along with product identification and use of measuring equipment
  • Work efficiently and effectively as part of a team and on your own
  • Operate saws and handle steel
  • Transfer stock to its location using forklift trucks and cranes
  • Assist in the overall production and dispatch of customers' orders
  • Maintain high levels of Health and Safety at all times
  • Be adaptable and flexible in approach to work to meet operational requirements

About You

We are looking for someone with experience in machinery operations and a proven track record in setting and recording performance and quality standards. You will have a flexible attitude, be results-oriented, and enjoy working in a team environment. Fork-lift and side-loader experience is desirable but not essential.
