About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Trainee Cognitive Behavioural Therapist. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in CBT and work with our experienced team to deliver high-quality services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake the Postgraduate Diploma in CBT at the University of Reading
  • Work as part of Nottingham City Mental Health Support Teams (MHST)
  • Develop and maintain a sound knowledge of theory and its application to evidence-based practice
  • Develop good communication skills and the ability to relate to children, young people, families, and professionals
Requirements
  • Relevant professional qualification in social work, nursing, or a core qualification as defined in BABCP
  • Direct experience as a practitioner in a childcare setting, ideally within an education setting
  • Knowledge and existing skills regarding a range of therapeutic interventions and their application to practice for a wide range of mental health presentations
