Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant - EYFS to KS2 Support

Job Type: Full-time, Long-term

Location: Special Educational Needs school

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with varied Special Educational Needs in an EYFS to KS2 setting. The ideal candidate will have previous SEN Teaching Assistant experience, be confident in undertaking work to the EYFS, KS1 and KS2 curriculums, and have experience in supporting pupils with SEN.

Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils with SEN in an EYFS to KS2 setting
  • Work closely with teachers to develop and implement individualized education plans
  • Assist with lesson planning and preparation
  • Provide one-to-one support to pupils as needed
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

  • Relevant teaching assistant qualification (e.g. NCFE, CACHE or NVQ Level 1, 2 or 3)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident
  • Previous experience of working with children in the last 2 years
  • Excellent knowledge of the full curriculum and assessment frameworks
  • Previous EYFS to KS5 experience
  • Experience working with pupils with Special Educational Needs
  • Two references working with children
  • Current DBS that is registered with the update service or be willing to apply for a new one
