Job Title: Care Quality and Compliance Lead

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Care Quality and Compliance Lead to join our team at Oakleaf Recruitment. As a key member of our In-House Recruitment Team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance across our growing group of services and hospitals across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Supporting and assisting senior managers in the delivery of a high-quality service by using a measured approach to develop quality at local level through the use of the risk register and Continuous Action Plans and other quality tools as per company protocol.
  2. Working alongside Registered Managers to highlight service deficiencies, non-conformities, and risk, providing support to develop action plans to rectify.
  3. Reviewing data and analysing themes and trends and reporting on as required.
  4. Signposting staff to guidance and advice on policies and CQC standards, and supporting with regulatory compliance.
  5. Supporting with the development and review of policy and ensuring the most up-to-date policy and associated documents are accessible and used appropriately in practice.
  6. Promoting and sharing best practice across services, ensuring lessons learned are identified and disseminated effectively.
  7. Undertaking and supporting quality development as required.
  8. Supporting staff to utilise the systems to understand how they are performing and demonstrate how they are the best at getting better across care and support.
  9. Supporting and leading on Quality Projects as agreed by the Board.

Requirements:

  1. Track record of Compliance in the care sector.
  2. Hospital experience, with experience in Mental Health and drug and alcohol abuse preferred.
  3. Sound knowledge of CQC Regulatory framework.
  4. Willingness to listen and understand others and maintain credibility in your role.
  5. Ability to support others and gain trust.
  6. Positivity.
  7. Ability to develop people by helping staff individually and as groups so that they may perform their best.
  8. Creativity, delivering practical solutions, and flexibility to meet others' needs.
  9. Willingness to examine own values, principles, and assumptions.
  10. Ability to learn from own experiences.
  11. Motivating others by establishing clear direction and standards; providing opportunities for participation; and giving encouragement, recognition, and personal support for their efforts and achievements.

  14. Must have a Full UK Driving License and access to a car which is insured for business use.
