Senior Field Engineer Opportunity at London Gatwick

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Field Engineer to join our team at London Gatwick. As a key member of our construction team, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of complex projects across the airport.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and supervise multi-disciplined construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Work closely with the Project Management team to define technical scopes, align project delivery with business requirements, and ensure projects are carried through from design to construction and handover.
  • Lead the management of construction management resources, helping to develop their skills, maintain quality standards, and provide guidance and support.
  • Deliver regular site safety engagement, ensuring an emphasis on and compliance with Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) standards and promoting a positive HSE culture.
  • Review contractor CDM and quality and commissioning submittals for quality and compliance.
Requirements:
  • Experience in managing complex multi-year and £multi-million projects, typically with a value of £15 million.
  • Understanding of the importance of controlling and managing the project close out and handover process.
  • Experience as a Senior Field Engineer or Section Engineer, managing projects with a focus on health and safety.
  • Understanding of quality management and handover processes.
