Senior Field Engineer Opportunity at London Gatwick

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Field Engineer to join our team at London Gatwick. As a key member of our construction team, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of complex projects across the airport.

About the Role

As a Senior Field Engineer, you will be responsible for supervising multi-disciplined construction projects, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, and promoting a positive HSE culture. You will work closely with the Project Management team to define technical scopes, align project delivery with business requirements, and ensure successful project completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver regular site safety engagement to ensure compliance with HSE standards
  • Review contractor CDM and quality submittals for quality and compliance
  • Coordinate with electrical and mechanical engineering colleagues to ensure all works are installed to plan
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in significant mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and heating projects
  • Understanding of the importance of controlling and managing the project close-out and handover process
  • Experience as a Senior Field Engineer or Section Engineer managing complex multi-year and £multi-million projects
