Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the Combat Systems Safety Engineering Team Lead / PM to task and report progress on Safety Engineering activities.
- Analyse and decompose Whole Boat, Major System level Functional Safety and Local HIndividual (LHI) / Physical Hazards Safety requirements to Combat Systems Major Systems Sub-systems Engineers and Suppliers.
- Approve Product Safety aspects of Technical Specifications and System Design Descriptions.
- Adhere to and meet Combat Systems Safety Management Plan.
- Work with Combat Systems Engineers and Major Systems Suppliers to analyse Combat Systems hazards and develop design solutions to mitigate them or confirm gap analysis and determine Residual Risk for CS MS TA and Whole Boat Acceptance and Endorsement.
