Orbis Education & Care is a leading organisation dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to children and adults with complex needs associated with autism.

We're seeking a passionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our team, supporting our pupils' educational and personal development.

A Typical Day:

  • Provide high-quality teaching and learning opportunities using a variety of teaching approaches and activities to support pupils in achieving their goals.
  • Support teachers with planning, preparation, and assessment of learning opportunities.
  • Assist with planning and implementation of off-site activities.
  • Support pupils who require help during morning routines, lunch/break times, or with personal care.

What We're Looking For:

  • A qualification in English & Maths.
  • The ability to relate well to pupils and build positive and respectful relationships.
  • The ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Initiative and a willingness to take on new challenges.
  • The ability to offer personal care in a respectful and professional manner.
