We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Gynaecology Ward Sister to join our dynamic team at Royal Derby Hospital. As a key member of our ward team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, leading and managing the ward, and contributing to the development of our nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage the Gynaecology ward, ensuring high standards of patient care and safety.
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes.
- Provide guidance and support to nursing staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery and patient satisfaction.
- Contribute to the development of nursing staff, providing mentorship and coaching to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Registered Nurse with a valid NMC registration.
- Experience in Gynaecology nursing, with a strong understanding of acute gynaecology care.
- Leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
