About The Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Plant & Equipment Coordinator to join our Specialist Plant & Equipment team based in Newton, Nottinghamshire. This is a 6-month fixed-term contract.

About the team

M Group Services Plant & Fleet currently provide a comprehensive fleet of over 80,000 items of Statutory Test Equipment and specialist Plant. This is an exciting time to join a growing division and within the role, you'll get the opportunity to provide support to our Transmission Networks business who provide design, build, refurbishment, and maintenance services for the country's Electricity overhead line network, for clients such as National Grid and Scottish Power.

About the role

Your responsibilities will include the upkeep of the Plant & STE Stock Safety System and support/carry out all relevant office tasks including Operational Requests, Calibration & Recall, Stock Location Control and External Hire Support. Hybrid working would also be considered.

About the responsibilities

  • Control Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) Certification and internal Test and Inspections in line with LOLER and PUWER Regulations and industry Legislation.
  • Deal with Transport/Haulage requests for Plant & Equipment deliveries to Site as required.
  • Respond to general enquires regarding Plant & Equipment Certification and Test/Inspections status including Plant & Equipment supply issues.
  • Drive the specialist 'Plant & Equipment Request' function including the acknowledgement, recording, and processing of each individual request and raising Material Orders for inventory demands.
  • Manage the PPE process and allocation records.

  • Excellent organisational abilities to prioritise, plan and organise work in a busy environment.
  • Good computing skills including ability to use Microsoft office and willingness to learn other programs and tools.
  • Effective written & verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Hard working, with strong service and performance ethic.
  • Able to work alone and on own initiative, as well as being a team player.
