Area Support Trainer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Area Support Trainer to join our award-winning training team at Hickory's Smokehouse. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coaching and developing a team of in-store trainers, as well as motivating and educating our front of house team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our in-store trainers and front of house team.
  • Coach and mentor team members to achieve high standards of customer service and quality.
  • Collaborate with the training team to design and implement training initiatives that align with our business objectives.
  • Conduct regular training sessions and provide feedback to team members.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvement.

Requirements

  • Previous training or coaching experience in a similar role or supervisor role within a fast-paced or high-volume restaurant environment.
  • Ability to motivate, coach, train, and develop team members to Hickory's standard and culture.
  • Passionate about delivering an amazing guest experience and pushing team members to reach their full potential.
  • Welcoming, empathetic, and infectious personality.
  • Drive to find grey areas, think outside the box, and never give up on any team member.
  • Ability to evaluate processes and come up with new ideas.
  • Open and honest communication skills, experience of or the ability to give feedback.
  • Ability to set and maintain the highest standards.
