As a Graduate Submarines Site Engineer at BAE Systems, you will play a key role in ensuring the nuclear assets are safe, legal, and compliant. You will be part of an exciting and expanding team providing management, governance, and assurance to the BAE Barrow site nuclear assets and buildings.
Within the Site Engineering Authority (Nuclear), you will support both current and future boat built programmes throughout the full lifecycle to ensure asset and building availability for key deadlines and programme milestones.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Site Engineering Authority (SEA) graduate, you will be tasked with providing general engineering oversight to both identified risks and emergent issues. You will also be heavily involved in the Site Redevelopment Programme and associated projects.
You will provide technical engineering advice and support to maintenance, operations, and project teams. You will also provide technical assurance to both internal and external governing bodies to prove compliance with regulations and legislation.
RequirementsYou'll need to have obtained, or be predicted to obtain, a 2.2 in your Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant STEM subject, including but not limited to Mechanical, Structural, Electrical, Nuclear, or Civil Engineering.
