Job Opportunity: Special Needs Teaching Assistant in Taunton

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support students with special educational needs in our Taunton school. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that enables every child to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to students with special educational needs in the classroom.
  • Work closely with the teacher to develop and implement personalized learning plans.
  • Assist with academic, social, and emotional development to ensure every child reaches their potential.
  • Develop strong, supportive relationships with students, encouraging independence and confidence.
  • Help with any additional care or support needs, including personal or medical care if required.

Requirements:

  • A compassionate, patient, and nurturing approach to working with children.
  • Experience with SEN students is a plus, but not essential.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A positive and flexible attitude to adapt to the needs of the students.
