Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for us to appoint Senior Advanced Practitioners to join our Emergency Department team at Fairfield Hospital. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our clinical services.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
  • Work clinical shifts in the Emergency Department, providing expert care to patients and supporting the Nurse Consultant and Senior ACP Development Lead with the day-to-day management of the Advanced Clinical Practitioners.
  • Support the development of Emergency care within the department, working closely with the Nurse Consultant and Lead Nurse to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
  • Represent the ACP workforce and strategy across the Division to Senior Leaders within the Care Organisation.
  • Contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures, ensuring they are evidence-based and aligned with best practice.
  • Provide clinical supervision to junior members of the team, supporting their professional development and ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver high-quality patient care.
