We are seeking an exceptional leader to join our dynamic Physical Education department at Wayman Learning Trust. This is a full-time permanent position offering the opportunity to shape the future of girls physical education within a supportive and academically rigorous environment.

About the Role:

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction for the Girls PE program aligning with the school's overall vision and educational goals.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive and engaging PE curriculum that fosters a love of sport and physical activity in all girls.
  • Oversee the work of PE teachers within the Girls program providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
  • Build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents promoting a positive and inclusive environment within the Girls PE program.
  • Champion equal opportunities for all girls to participate and excel in PE and sports.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Possesses a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Physical Education or a closely related subject.
  • Demonstrates a strong passion for physical activity and sport with a proven track record of success in leading and developing PE programs for girls.
  • Excels in leadership, communication, interpersonal skills, and collaboration.
  • Has a deep understanding of the National Curriculum for PE and the ability to create innovative and engaging learning experiences.
  • A commitment to promoting equality, inclusivity, and the importance of physical and mental wellbeing within the Girls PE program.
