Menzies Distribution is seeking a skilled Transport Administrator to provide exceptional support in our Droitwich depot. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our transport services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all administrative tasks related to transport, including despatch and tracking of vehicles
  • Liaise with internal and external customers, suppliers, and drivers to ensure seamless communication
  • Monitor and report on transport operations, identifying trends and areas for improvement
  • Support the planning of routes and schedules to optimize efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with transport legislation and regulations
  • Respond promptly to breakdowns and vehicle defect reports
  • Perform ad-hoc administrative duties as required

Requirements:

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • General understanding of transport legislation and logistics operations
  • Experience in producing reports and statistics in a timely manner
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment with fluctuating workloads
  • Good computer skills, with experience using transport management systems an advantage
  • Ability to work night shifts and adapt to changing priorities
