About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our team in Downham Market. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in managing our financial operations, ensuring accurate and timely reporting, and driving business growth.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly management accounts, profit analysis, and business KPIs to support informed decision-making
  • Oversee business record keeping on Sage 50 Accounts, including sales and purchase ledgers, VAT returns, and CIS returns
  • Manage day-to-day cash flow, including credit control and supplier payments
  • Process monthly salaries on Sage 50 Payroll and administer the company pension scheme
  • Support the Finance Director in preparing forecasts and budgets, as well as implementing new initiatives to drive business growth
  • Produce ad-hoc reports and analysis to inform business decisions

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • ACA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified, alternatively qualified by experience
  • Able to produce accurate financial statements in accordance with current accounting standards
  • Experience processing payroll, including different pay elements, sick pay, parental pay, and pension contributions
  • Knowledge of Sage 50 Accounts and Payroll, as well as Microsoft Office
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills and a team player
