Job Overview:

About the Role:

This exciting opportunity offers a competitive salary, with an estimated annual income of £70,000 - £90,000 based on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and manage subcontract packages, appointments and material procurement
  • Direct and proficient negotiation of client contract sums
  • Manage multiple projects ranging above £10 million
  • Oversee measures and report variances to the board and client team
  • Prepare valuations for interim applications and assessments
  • Prepare supporting documentation for the client and their consultants
  • Produce Bills of quantities for construction and fit out schemes UK and ROI
  • Monitor costs to ensure budgets are met and attend regular finance meetings internally and externally
  • Liaise closely with Site Managers and Project Managers to record all variations, change requests and instructions
  • Monitoring sub-contractor accounts, negotiations and referrals
  • Preparation and submission of weekly financial reports to client and client QS
  • Monthly cost/value reconciliation to the board
  • Monitoring cash collection
  • Finalising of project accounts with detailed analysis and insight into project performance
  • Providing commercial support to the Estimating and manufacturing teams
  • Monitoring compliance of projects and following company procedures while delivering best practice

Minimum Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of numerous projects within Fit-out & Refurbishment with clear levels of responsibility, with a minimum of 5-8 years of experience. A strong lead would have a clear understanding of contractual obligations, breaches and remedies, competent knowledge of a range of procurement options available in the industry, and sound understanding of financial management procedures with excellent organisation and management skills.
