Security Professional for Retail Environment

KSG is recruiting a Retail Security Officer to join our team at the Morrisons store in Alness, IV17 area.
The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security of the store by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel, as well as providing a visible deterrent within the store.
This is a challenging yet rewarding role, perfect for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and has excellent communication skills.
The position involves working on average 36 hours per week, following our site rota, which includes shifts as follows:
- Monday to Saturday: 12:00pm - 22:00pm & 13:00pm - 21:00pm
- Sunday: 08:00am - 20:00pm
The hourly rate for this position is £12.00.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees.
- Providing a visible deterrent within the store.
- Completing reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.
- Working as part of a team to fulfill customer requirements.
- Dealing with any difficult situations that arise in a safe and professional manner.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication & customer service skills.
- Professional in approach, with a balanced sense of judgement, and a keen eye for detail.
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential.
- A valid SIA Licence or have applied for one.
- A full five-year checkable employment history.
