Job Title: Adult Care Assistant/Support Worker

Are you an experienced care professional looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Adult Care Assistant/Support Worker to join our team at Randstad Care.

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to provide high-quality care and support to adults with complex needs in a supported tenancy setting. As a Care Assistant/Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enabling our service users to live their lives as independently as possible.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing personal care and support to adults with complex needs
  • Establishing good daily routines and performing personal care tasks
  • Supporting wheelchair-bound service users, including using hoists
  • Displaying emotional resilience to support service users with life-limiting conditions
  • Working to a flexible schedule, including night shifts, weekends, and bank holidays

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with adults with complex needs
  • Experience in, or prepared to undertake training in PEG feeding, epilepsy, and moving and handling
  • Strong communication skills
  • Registration under the PVG scheme
  • Full driving license (essential)
  • SVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care, or equivalent (desirable)
