Job Title: Specialist Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialist Occupational Therapist to join our team at Tripod Partners.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will work in a 34-bed rehab facility, providing occupational therapy services to patients who are not ready to return home. The role will involve working 5 mornings per week, with the afternoons spent on follow-up community work, supporting first contact cases, or working from home on cases depending on capacity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy services to patients in a rehab facility and in the community
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the needs of patients
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and goals
  • Provide education and training to patients and their families on occupational therapy techniques and strategies

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
  • Current registration with the relevant professional body
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in occupational therapy, preferably in a rehab setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Working Hours:

The successful candidate will be required to work Monday to Friday, with core working hours of 8am-4pm. Adaptations, equipment, and moving and handling experience are essential for this role.
