Nurse Practitioner Opportunity

Job Summary
Orchard Medical Practice is seeking an experienced part-time practice nurse to join their well-regarded high-achieving team. The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge in areas such as diabetes, asthma, COPD, immunisations, and contraception.
Main Duties
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering general practice nursing to the whole practice population, working collaboratively with the general practice team to meet the needs of patients. They will also be responsible for maintaining accurate and contemporaneous records of patient consultations.

Orchard Medical Practice is a high-achieving well-regarded practice with a relaxed and friendly team. The clinical team includes 2 Nurse Practitioners, 3 Clinical Pharmacists, 3 Visiting Paramedics, a First Contact Practitioner (Physio), 3 Practice Nurses, and a Nursing Associate.

Job Responsibilities
The post holder will be responsible for supporting the practice in achieving its targets for chronic disease management, public health initiatives, and quality of care. They will also be responsible for maintaining a personal development plan and ensuring patients' health checks and records are up to date at all times.
Person Specification
The ideal candidate will have a qualified registered nurse with experience in diabetes, COPD, asthma, immunisations, and contraception. They will also have experience working in primary care and be able to work collaboratively as part of a team.
