Job Requirements:

We are seeking a Financial Reporting Specialist to cover the year-end cycle from Mid-Dec to the end of May. The ideal candidate will own the preparation of the year-end financial statements for non-trading entities, work closely with internal stakeholders to meet reporting deadlines, and liaise with the Group Tax manager to ensure tax disclosures are accurately reflected in the financial statements.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare year-end financial statements for non-trading entities
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to meet reporting deadlines
  • Liaise with the Group Tax manager to ensure tax disclosures are accurately reflected in the financial statements
  • Collaborate with the Group auditors on the audit of the financial statements
  • Close out and document any audit issue that arises
  • Support the Group Reporting team with ad-hoc requests associated with the audit of the consolidated Group or internal reporting

Requirements:
  • Professional accounting qualification, e.g. ACA or ACCA
  • Experience of financial reporting and statutory accounts preparation
  • Experience of dealing with auditors and resolving audit queries
  • Demonstrable ability to form effective working relationships with multiple stakeholders
  • Detailed and analytical self-starter, proactive approach
  • Knowledge of IFRS, FRS101 and FRS102
