Job Summary:

Elevation Recruitment Group is seeking a highly skilled Sales Engineer to join our team and represent our client, a leading manufacturer of bespoke machinery solutions for the Food and Beverage industry.

About the Role:

As a Sales Engineer, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth by identifying customer needs and providing tailored technical solutions. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing clients across the EMEA region, identifying and understanding customer requirements, and delivering compelling technical presentations and demonstrations of machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients across the EMEA region, understanding their needs and providing tailored technical solutions.
  • Identify and understand customer requirements: Identify and understand customer requirements to offer suitable technical solutions, working closely with the engineering and design teams to customise machinery for specific client applications.
  • Deliver technical presentations and demonstrations: Deliver compelling technical presentations and demonstrations of machinery, showcasing the benefits and features of our client's products.
  • Collaborate with internal teams: Collaborate with the engineering and design teams to ensure seamless integration and high customer satisfaction, providing hands-on support for equipment installation and commissioning.
  • Travel and representation: Regularly travel within the EMEA region to visit clients and project sites, representing our client and promoting their products and services.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience: Proven experience in a Sales Engineer role, preferably in the special purpose machinery, automation, or manufacturing sectors.
  • Technical background: Strong technical background, with hands-on experience with machinery installation, setup, and troubleshooting.
  • Communication skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical information into customer-friendly language.
  • Travel and flexibility: Willingness to travel regularly within the EMEA region, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Language skills: Fluency in English; additional language skills (e.g., German, French, Spanish) are a plus.
