Shifts: Double Days - 6-2/ 2-10

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our team on a contract basis. As a Mechanical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing reactive maintenance and preventative maintenance on all aspects of machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance
  2. Conduct fault finding and repair of machinery
  3. Work on fast-paced packaging machinery, including filling machines, sealing machines, labelling machines, wrapping machines, cartoning machines, palletizers, capping machines, etc.

Requirements:

  1. Mechanical engineering time-served apprenticeship or equivalent
  2. Welding skills to tight tolerances
  3. Experience in an industrial manufacturing environment, with the ability to work under pressure
  4. Pro-active, driven, and able to work independently
  5. Attention to detail and ability to suggest improvements
