Job Title: Mechanical Engineer for Complex Projects

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer for Complex Projects to work on high-risk construction projects for multi-national organisations, based in London.

The Role:

  • Design and develop mechanical systems for construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Mechanical System Design: Design and develop mechanical systems for construction projects, considering stakeholder needs and ensuring compliance with international engineering standards.Project Coordination and Collaboration: Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.Techincal Support and Guidance: Provide technical support and guidance to clients and stakeholders, ensuring they are informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.Ongoing Training and Professional Development: Maintain technical competency through ongoing training and professional development and present complex technical information to clients and stakeholders.

The Requirements:

  • Extensive experience working as an engineer in the construction sector.
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent; additional qualifications in risk management are desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels.
  • Proven writing skills for producing detailed technical reports.
  • Membership of relevant engineering associations is advantageous.
  • Working knowledge of international engineering standards and codes.
  • Familiarity with fire protection and detection systems.

Estimated Salary: £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
