**Job Summary:** We are seeking a skilled and motivated GP Practice Manager to join our friendly team at Brunton Park Health Centre in Newcastle upon Tyne. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the practice, ensuring excellent patient care, and maintaining high standards of governance.

Main Duties:

  1. Manage the day-to-day operations of the practice, ensuring smooth delivery of services.
  2. Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver excellent patient care.
  3. Develop and implement business strategies, focusing on improving patient outcomes and meeting regulatory requirements.
  4. Collaborate with GP partners to ensure effective financial management, budgeting, and reporting.
  5. Manage risk, health and safety, and infection prevention and control measures, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Person Specification:

  • Proven experience in GP Practice Management or a similar healthcare setting.
  • Degree-level education in healthcare or business, or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
