We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Clinical Support Worker to join our Perioperative Team at South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting our theatre team in delivering high-quality patient care in the peri-operative environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the preparation of patients for treatment, investigations, or procedures as directed by the registered professional.
- Participate in a full range of perioperative care, including circulating duties and assisting with transporting, moving, and positioning of patients.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness within theatres and the department as a whole.
- Assist in Holding bay duties and acting as chaperone to patients.
- Assist with completion of documentation appropriate to the patient's individual care.
- Obtained an educational level of GCSE level A - C English and Maths or equivalent.
- Experience working as part of a team.
- Good written, verbal, and non-verbal communication skills.
- Competent IT skills.
- Able to work to agreed level of competency.
- On-going learning and development opportunities.
