About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Clinical Support Worker to join our team at South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and associated duties under the direction and supervision of the registered professional.
  • Support the registered professional in the delivery of safe, effective, and compassionate care to patients and their relatives.
  • Assist with the preparation of patients for treatment, investigations, or procedures as directed by the registered professional.
  • Keep the clinical area clean and tidy, maintaining a safe environment.
  • Adhere to Trust infection control procedures and demonstrate an understanding of cross-infection.
  • Chaperone or escort patients as needed under the direction of the registered professional.
  • Support relatives demonstrating compassion and empathy under the guidance of a registered professional.
  • Assist with the discharge process for patients as directed by the registered professional.
Requirements
  • GCSE level A-C in English and Maths or equivalent.
  • Experience working as part of a team.
  • Desirable: experience in delivering care and working in a healthcare or people-centred environment.
