Paediatric Audiologist

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Paediatric Audiologist to join our team at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work in our UKAS accredited, Family-led Paediatric Audiology service. As a Paediatric Audiologist, you will be responsible for performing a range of clinical investigations, procedures, and processes to deliver patient care according to the agreed IMP. You will also be expected to interpret and report results to patients and other healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Perform audiometry, diagnostic tympanometry, diagnostic reflexes, OAEs, and speech audiometry
- Conduct paediatric assessments, including VRA testing, distraction testing, play or performance audiometry, and PTA
- Work closely with a Specialist Healthcare Science Practitioner (Audiology) or Healthcare or Clinical Scientist to lead paediatric testing
- Develop and maintain skills and knowledge to further advance in the role
We are looking for a candidate with a BSc Audiology (or equivalent) and AHCS/RCCP registration. You should also be a member of either BSA or BAA. Experience in paediatric audiology is desirable, but not essential. You will need to demonstrate a caring and compassionate nature, with good interpersonal and communication skills.
