Paediatric Audiologist

About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Paediatric Audiologist to join our team at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust.
The successful candidate will have a BSc Audiology or equivalent and be working towards AHCS/RCCP registration. They will also be a member of either BSA or BAA.
The role involves working in a UKAS accredited service, providing a full adult and paediatric audiology service across Coventry and Rugby. The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate a caring and compassionate nature, with good interpersonal and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a range of clinical investigations, procedures, or processes to deliver patient care. This will include audiometry, diagnostic tympanometry, diagnostic reflexes, OAEs, and speech audiometry.
They will also be responsible for paediatric assessments, including VRA testing, distraction testing, play or performance audiometry, and PTA. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of a Specialist Healthcare Science Practitioner (Audiology) or Healthcare or Clinical Scientist.
Person Specification
The successful candidate will have a BSc Audiology or equivalent and be working towards AHCS/RCCP registration. They will also be a member of either BSA or BAA.
The ideal candidate will have experience in paediatric audiology and be keen to learn and engage in paediatric testing. They will also have good interpersonal and communication skills and be able to manage a busy and varied workload in a timely manner.
