We are seeking a skilled Art Teacher to join our team at a client school in Darlington. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching KS3 and KS4 Art to students with varying abilities.

About the Role:

  • Lesson Planning and Delivery: Plan, deliver, and assess creative and engaging Art lessons that cater to different student needs.
  • Classroom Management: Utilize excellent facilities and state-of-the-art equipment to create an inspiring learning environment.
  • Extracurricular Activities: Participate in various activities that encourage students to explore their creativity beyond the classroom.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Hold Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent qualification.
  • Art Curriculum Knowledge: Possess strong knowledge of the Art curriculum and its application in the classroom.
  • Classroom Skills: Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills and the ability to work effectively with students and colleagues.
  • DBS and References: Have a child-only DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one, as well as provide two professional references from recent employment.

Salary Information:

The estimated salary for this position is £71 per day, which may be subject to negotiation based on experience. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including statutory holiday pay and opportunities for professional development.
