Financial Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Manager to join our finance team in Newtownabbey, United Kingdom.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies to ensure the company's financial health and compliance with regulations.
  • Prepare and present financial reports, forecasts, and budgets to management.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring financial stability and making recommendations for improvement.
  • Oversee month-end and year-end financial processes, including audits and ensure compliance with tax laws and financial regulations.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external auditors, banks, and stakeholders.
  • Provide strategic financial advice to senior management and implement financial systems, policies, and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Financial Manager or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of financial management, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong leadership and communication abilities.
  • ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualification is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
