About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SARC Manager to lead our Sexual Assault Referral Centre in providing dedicated support and care to victims of sexual assault.

As a SARC Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating all activities related to the smooth running of the centre, effectively leading and managing a multi-agency team, and developing a strategic vision for the service.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in forensic healthcare, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work with vulnerable individuals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and deliver safe and effective services to clients of the SARC
  • Evaluate and assess current service delivery and implement changes to improve access and service delivery
  • Manage a team of employees associated with the SARC

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse (NMC) with a minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience
  • Basic Life Support training
  • Working with vulnerable people
  • Excellent communication skills and styles
  • Proven strong judgement and analysis
  • Venepuncture training
  • Managerial experience
  • Trained to complete forensic examinations
  • Awareness of SARC commissioning
