About the Role

This is a critical position within Mountain Healthcare Ltd, responsible for providing dedicated support and care to victims of sexual assault. As the SARC Manager, you will act as the advocate for patients attending the centre, empowering them to feel in control and supporting them during the forensic examination process.

Main Responsibilities

The role will include:

  • Coordinating and delivering safe and effective services to all clients of the SARC, meeting national and local targets.
  • Evaluating and assessing current service delivery, implementing changes to improve access and service delivery while working within a budget.
  • Managing all employees associated with the SARC.

Person Specification

Qualifications

Essential

  • Registered Nurse (NMC) with a minimum of 3 years post qualification
  • Please note, all successful candidates will be subject to pre-employment checks including an Enhanced DBS check, two satisfactory references, and Police vetting NVVP Level 2 checks.

Experience

Essential

  • Basic Life Support (Training Provided).
  • Working with vulnerable people.
  • Excellent communication skills and styles.
  • Proven strong judgement and analysis.
  • Venepuncture trained.
  • Managerial experience
  • Trained to complete forensic examinations.
  • Having awareness of SARC commissioning.
