We are seeking a skilled Highway Maintenance Operative to join our Transportation Team at Kier Group. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient maintenance of the Transport for London Road Network (TLRN).
Key Responsibilities- Adhere to Kier's health and safety measures, utilizing various plant and equipment to ensure site and company equipment security.
- Operate within different teams, participating in our call-out rota system to provide immediate response throughout the year and seasonal winter maintenance duties.
- Safely use tarmac and other materials to carry out repairs, including raking and rolling patches to an auditable standard.
- Work in all weather conditions, performing tasks on site in the public domain.
- Utilize technology, such as tablets for record-keeping and point-of-work risk assessments.
- Hold a full driving license with HGV (Minimum Class 3).
- Have current or previous NRSWA accreditations.
- Demonstrate a strong grasp of health and safety within the highways industry.
