The F&O clearing team plays a vital role in the success of the firm, ensuring that Marex's day-to-day trade processes run smoothly and efficiently, and that customer needs are met to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Allocate, clear, and accept trades in a timely and efficient manner
  • Recap clients in multiple formats on behalf of internal brokers
  • Monitor and resolve exchange clearing gateways and third-party clearer file imports
  • Monitor and resolve downstream internal system feeds and processes
  • Collaborate with front office brokers to address queries and requirements
  • Configure and maintain back-office clearing static data
  • Report issues to the back-office supervisor and clearing manager
  • Work closely with IT and trade support groups to resolve system issues
  • Manage top day trade activity to reduce intraday margin calls
  • Efficiently manage email communications, including personal and group mailboxes
  • Assist with mandatory exchange upgrades and new exchanges/introductions
  • Train new staff members
  • Monitor trader error positions and ensure off-risk department and senior management awareness
  • Support the Brokerage Department on relevant queries
  • Liaise with the Clearing Manager and IT development to improve systems and procedures

Requirements

  • Clearing experience is essential
  • Knowledge of XTP, ATeo LISA, and TEO Clearing software
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • MS Office experience
  • Excellent communication skills within the team and other business areas
  • Punctuality and enthusiasm
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
  • Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Experience working in a regulated environment and knowledge of risk and compliance requirements
