Job Title: Field Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team at Planet Recruitment Services Ltd. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our clients, including installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support to customers, including installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment.
  • Maximize revenue by completing first-time fix appointments and performing preventative maintenance to reduce repeat visits.
  • Keep the office informed of stock needs and supply regular call-log information for others in the business.
  • Work alongside the Sales Manager to recommend the right equipment and options to customers with specific needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with connectivity and compatibility across the range.
  • Promote the software side of the business, including training and maintenance of software packages.
  • Support less experienced engineers and contribute to their development.
Requirements:
  • Manufacturer-trained on Ricoh and/or Konica Minolta products up to the most recent models.
  • Excellent knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering.
  • A minimum of 5 years Field Service Engineer experience.
  • Proven fault-finding technique.
  • IT literate with networking experience in both Windows and Mac-based environments.
  • Experience and understanding of Papercut.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and go beyond normal job description if needed.
