Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Artificial Intelligence Engineering Director to lead our AI engineering teams across the UK, Australia, India, and Sri Lanka. As a seasoned leader, you will be responsible for defining and delivering AI-enabled features across the stack, leveraging AI solutions, and converting unstructured real-world information into high-quality actionable data.

You will work closely with product and customer teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality work while maintaining a positive work culture. Your experience in managing complex data pipelines, mentoring and coaching team members, and driving value and time to market will be invaluable to our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead AI engineering teams across multiple locations
  • Define and deliver AI-enabled features
  • Manage complex data pipelines and leverage AI solutions
  • Mentor and coach team members
  • Drive value and time to market

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Engineering, or a related field
  • Proven experience as an AI engineering leader managing multiple squads and complex engineering delivery projects
  • Experience in designing and deploying machine learning-driven solutions
  • Solid mathematical foundation in deep learning, LLM, and NLP
  • Proficiency in Python and relevant libraries
  • Strong background in general software development
  • Experience with cloud environments - Azure and GCP preferable
  • Excellent project management skills and experience with Agile methodologies

Location: London (Hybrid Remote)

Estimated Salary: £120,000 - £150,000 per annum
