About the Role:
We are looking for a compassionate and experienced nurse to lead our team of paediatric nurses. You will be responsible for planning and reviewing care in collaboration with families to ensure safety and advocacy. Your expertise will also involve administering medications and maintaining the nutritional status of all children.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide direct line management support to Band 5 Nurses
* Deliver high-quality patient care in the hospice, children's homes, or community settings
* Plan and review care in collaboration with families to ensure safety and advocacy
* Ensure fun, sensitivity, and compassion are integral to the care provided
* Administer medications and maintain the nutritional status of all children
Requirements:
* Registration as a Sick Children's Nurse or Registered Nurse (Child Branch)
* Relevant post-qualification experience at Band 5 level
* Experience in nursing children with life-limiting conditions
* Positive attitude, flexibility, and a commitment to the hospice's values
Salary and Benefits:
The salary for this role is up to £49,976 per annum, plus a joining bonus of £5,000 over three years. Additional benefits include 25 days of annual leave, increasing with service, pension contributions up to 6% from the employer, and flexible working opportunities.
