About the Role

This Technical Services Assistant position involves providing technical support to various departments within North Lanarkshire Council's Coatbridge High School/Field Services.

Key Tasks:

  • Providing first-line technical assistance and repair services for computing hardware and software
  • Conducting cyclical maintenance and safety testing of equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Operating and maintaining ICT equipment in educational settings
  • Assisting with the development and production of ICT materials and resources
  • Managing the ITSM call logging system to track and resolve technical issues

Essential Requirements:

You must hold an HNC (or equivalent) in an ICT-related subject and have relevant experience in computing hardware and software maintenance. Strong communication skills are vital, as you will work closely with colleagues and stakeholders.

A HND (or equivalent) in an ICT-related subject is preferred, along with experience working with ICT in education and computer networks.

Compensation: The estimated annual salary for this role is between £29,180 and £31,737, based on industry standards and location factors.
