About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Walsall College. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will provide cross-college support to teaching staff and students who have a wide range of additional support needs.

You will work with students in the preparation and submission of their work, including written communication and IT-based work within the boundaries allowed by examining bodies. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our students and contribute to their academic success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support to teaching staff and students with additional support needs
  • Assist students with the preparation and submission of their work
  • Work with students to develop their written communication and IT skills
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to ensure students receive the support they need
